A face to face workshop where you will block print onto fabric using lino blocks (created previously and/or others supplied by Amanda) to create beautiful textiles. Course includes all materials. No experience needed. Registration via Easel Art Space.

About the Event
Join Amanda for a fun & inspiring workshop to create your own original and beautiful textiles!
In this workshop you will learn how repeat patterns are made and print your own textiles. Use lino blocks to print fabric items, either in a repeated pattern or other design by combining precut lino blocks that willl be available.
Everything is provided on the day, and you will take home your printed textiles.
Class fee includes all materials plus tools and ink to use on the day. You may also purchase a take home kit if you wish to have a set of tools, lino and ink to keep printing with!

All inks and tools
Tea towel or tote bag to print (more items can be purchased on the day for $5 each or bring your own fabric items to print up)
About your tutor:
Amanda Donohue studied printmaking at Sydney College of the Arts graduating with a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honours). She has been a printmaker for over twenty years and a member of the Newcastle Printmakers Workshop for seven years. See more about Amanda at www.amandadonohue.org.
